The project is meaningfully linked to EU programs:

"Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-27" (CAP), covering food, environment and rural areas;

The USAID Agricultural and Rural Development (AGRO) Program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Kimonix International;

"FinancEast", developed within the framework of the project ‘European Union Support for Eastern Ukraine’, implemented in accordance with the Financing Agreement signed on 08.12.2017 between the Government of Ukraine, represented by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, and the European Commission, acting on behalf of the the European Union under Component 2 of the Agreement "Economic Recovery and Development of MSMEs. Access to Finance"

The NEWAGRO project will cover:

  • -Food security planning based on EU policy examples;
  • -researching examples of successful rural households and small farms;
  • -practical aspects of developing more productive, modern and profitable micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises;
  • -identification of import substitution opportunities;
  • -successful integration of women's farming into competitive Ukrainian and international markets;
  • -creation of additional jobs;
  • -analysis of the state of rural areas of the affected regions in Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia region;
  • -identification of effective technologies for self-employment of the rural population;
  • -organic production;
  • -responsible attitude of the population to healthy eating.
